- כָּבוּלII m. (כָּבַל) 1) (cmp. אִיסְטְמָא) hair-net, a cap worn under the head-dress. Sabb.VI, 1; 5.Y. ib. 7d ולא בכבולי טבזסה, read: ולא בכ׳ שבכה ‘and not in a Kabulʾ, (Mish. l. c.), that is a hair-net. Bab. ib. 57b כ׳ זה איני יודע איוכ׳ this Kabul (Mish. l. c.) I do not know whether it means a slaves chain 2) chain.Pl. כְּבוּלִין chain-works for drawing water. Tosef.Mikv.IV, 2.
